WOW!

Week 4

I will not leave you in suspense 30 days after beginning a new lifestyle, I have gone from 
184 lbs to 168 lbs. I am so excited about this loss. I had told myself that I would be happy with 12 lbs, because I knew my body was changing and my health was improving, but I really wanted more and I got it. I did not do measurements which Whole30 recommends that you do. I wish I had, but I am not going to let that bring my down. It is also a good idea to take some before pictures in underwear or a bathing suit. I did take the pictures, however I forgot that they were on my phone. When my phone decided to stop working I went to the Sprint store to have it looked at. The bad news was that it could not be saved. The worse news was that my before pictures were on it and I had not saved them anywhere else. In my sudden panic to keep the Sprint guy from seeing me in my underwear as he transferred my pictures and videos to my new phone, I grabbed the phone and deleted the pictures. But despite only having the wicked scale to measure my progress, the bottom line is, I am beyond pleased with my results. 

Today I told myself that I could eat anything I wanted. I wanted a gourmet brownie. That's it. I ate one, so that I don't go through the next 30 days regretting it and possibly setting myself up for failure, but you know I really felt like I could live without it. It was good, great even, but I don't feel like it will hinder my future progress the way "cheating" had in the past. 

Tomorrow I will begin my 2nd round of a Whole30 lifestyle.
